CAAM is delighted to present DELHI IN A DAY at the 2011 Palo Alto International Film Festival, which will be screening on September 30th. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Director, Prashant Nair.
CAAM will be co-presenting GANDU, a film by South Asian Director Kaushik Mukherjee, at the 3rd annual Oakland Underground Film Festival.
Premiering Friday, September 16th in San Francisco is the full-length directorial debut of Mun Chee Yong’s film, WHERE THE ROAD MEETS THE SUN. And, CAAM is thrilled to co-present its run at Opera Plaza Cinemas from the 16th to the 22nd!
Join us for a celebration of jazz in San Francisco’s Japantown on September 10th! Japantown’s location next to the “Harlem of the West”, the Fillmore has led to it becoming a hotbed for cutting edge jazz throughout the years. To celebrate this community and sounds we’ve recruited three leading groups of musicians from Japantown to celebrate. We’ll also launch the celebration with an opening by Taiko performance by Genryu Arts Gen Ensemble.
