Volunteer

Volunteer at the Center for Asian American Media, a nonprofit organization that’s dedicated to presenting stories that convey the richness and diversity of Asian American experiences to the broadest audience possible. For 42 years, CAAM has exposed audiences to new voices and communities, advancing our collective understanding of the American experience through programs specifically designed to engage the Asian American community and the public at large. We do this by funding, producing, distributing, and exhibiting works in film, television, and digital media.

Every May, there are many volunteer opportunities at CAAMFest, the nation’s largest showcase for new Asian American and Asian films! Each year, volunteers from around the Bay Area help us make our festival a success! Festival volunteers serve in a variety of capacities, from ticket taking and line control at theaters, to registration and food service at galas and parties. Volunteers receive benefits including vouchers for festival screenings, an official festival t-shirt, an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party, as well as the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and fellow film enthusiasts.
