CAAM co-presents MATCHA: New Indian Cuisine

The Asian Art Museum continues its MATCHA series with the theme of New Indian Cuisine on Thursday, 10/27! Top Chef Master Floyd Cardoz demonstrates and discusses modern Indian cuisine. Sample bites, see the brand new Maharaja exhibition, catch DJ Janaka Selekta, enjoy docent tours, make your own chai tea mix, and sip cocktails from the cash bar.

CAAM and the organizers from the South By Southwest Film, Interactive, and Music Festivals will be hosting a mixer for all of our Bay Area friends to get plans underway for SXSW 2012. The event will be held at the Phoenix Hotel on 10/27 and entry is free with RSVP.

CAAM co-presents: ONCE UPON A ROOFTOP at UNAFF2011

We are delighted to be a part of the 14th UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival), which celebrates the power of documentary films dealing with global and social change. This year, CAAM co-presents ONCE UPON A ROOFTOP on Friday 10/21, which is a visual portrait of the families and individuals who live on the rooftops of mid-rises in Hong Kong.
