The production grant will support The Asian Americans, a public media initiative that examines ways in which the US Asian experience illuminates the larger American story.

Programs include “Chinatown Rising,” “Jaddoland,” “Seadrift,” Self Evident, and “When We Walk.”
“The Chinese Exclusion Act,” co-produced by CAAM and Steeplechase Films, receives 2019 Erik Barnouw Award
