In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, PBS will be broadcasting stories that reflect the diversity of the Asian American experience. Locus at KSW and SFIAAFF presents the DO IT YOURSELF Music Video contest

Locus at Kearny Street Workshop, in collaboration with the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, team up with local filmmakers and musicians to produce the 2nd annual DIY Premiere and Online Contest – videos will premiere at an event hosted by Locus at Kearny Street Workshop and one will win a spot in SFIAAFF’s Music Video Asia.

The 27th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival is proud to announce its 1st annual Student Delegate Program. Aimed to engage students with Asian and Asian American cinema, the program entails a rigorous program of screenings and talks, as well as access to special events and exclusive meetings with filmmakers. 3rd I Film Festival Opening Night Party

Kick off the sixth annual 3rd I Film Festival with an unforgettable evening in the heart of San Francisco’s bustling Mission District. Join luminaries Rebecca Hazelwood and Manish Goyal (Kissing Cousins), local filmmaker Saqib Mausoof (Kala Pul) and special guests at Bollyhood Cafe/Little Baobab and partake in free-flowing conversation and libations into the night.

MATCHA: Afghanistan

The MATCHA season culiminates in a grand finale with food, music, and dance of Afghanistan, in celebration of the highly anticipated, critically acclaimed special exhibition, Afghanistan: Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul. This is 2008’s last MATCHA. Let’s end it with a bang!
