Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Arts' Building Bridges Program grant will enable expanded public engagement, on TV and online with 20 short films created by American Muslim youth.

CAAM is thrilled to announce that the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art’s Building Bridges Program has award CAAM with a grant to distribute and amplify Muslim Youth Voices Project stories and short videos.

Previously, the foundation supported CAAM’s three-year national initiative, the Muslim Youth Voices Project. This summer will be the third year of the youth filmmaking workshops. Stay tuned for details on the summer workshops.

The support from DDFIA’s Building Bridges Program will enable expanded public engagement with the 20 short films created by American Muslim youth through screenings and discussion, at CAAMFest 2018, and on platforms with partnering organizations in public media, cable and digital television.
