SFIAAFF 2010 Opening Night Film + Gala Reception on Thursday, March 11 2010

The 28th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival opens with TODAY’S SPECIAL, a sparkling romantic comedy that hits the heart as well as the funny bone, TODAY’S SPECIAL is a lovingly crafted ode to family, food and New york City. Steaming kitchens and Bollywood songs of yore fill this hilarious second feature from Kaplan (YEAR OF THE FISH, SFIAAFF ‘07), written by and Starring the great Aasif Mandvi (The Daily Show).

Every year, SFIAAFF is home to hundreds of volunteers who help run the festival and make it a true success. We’re happy to spotlight one of the many special volunteers returning again this year.

SFIAAFF 2010 Tickets On Sale Now!

Tickets go on sale beginning February 11 for CAAM members and February 15 for the general public. Pick up your program guides at the Castro Theatre, Sundance Kabuki Cinemas, Clay Theatre, and VIZ Cinema in San Francisco, Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley, and the Camera 12 Cinemas in San Jose.
