Sandra Oh, Darren Criss Win Best Acting Awards at Golden Globes

Big wins for Asian actors at the Golden Globes.

Sandra Oh, who co-hosted the 76th Golden Globes Awards tonight with Andy Samberg, took home a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a dramatic television series for Killing Eve.

Darren Criss, who starred in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, won a Best Actor award in a limited series or motion picture made for TV.

It was not only a big night for these Asian actors, but also for their families.

Oh thanked her parents, who were both in attendance, in Korean. Criss shouted out his Filipina mom, who is from Cebu, Philippines, in his acceptance speech.

Sandra Oh’s parents were in the audience during the Golden Globes.
