Asian and Asian Pacific American filmmakers are making history again at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival with a vast array of remarkable films. CAAM and Visual Communications is pleased to host a dynamic conversation with industry leaders on the current and future state of Asian Americans in media. “Elevate, Incubate & Demonstrate: Advancing Asian American Artists” takes place on Sunday, January 22 from 2:30-5:30pm in Park City.

Panelists include Anne Lai (Sundance Institute Creative Producing Initiatives Director), Lisa Nishimura (Netflix, VP, Content Acquisition), John Cho (Actor, Star Trek Beyond), Effie Brown (Producer, Dear White People), Brickson Diamond (The Blackhouse Foundation Chair), Grace Lee (Filmmaker, American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs), Justin Chon (Actor, Filmmaker, Screenwriter, Gook), and Philip Fung (A3 Foundation Co-founder), moderated by David Magdael (David Magdael & Associates).
