Asian & Pacific Islander Americans in Historic Preservation (APIAHiP) is hosting a tribute to Dr. Dawn Bohulano Mabalon on Monday, November 12th during APIAHiP’s 2018 National Asian & Pacific Islander American Historic Preservation Forum. The program will include a screening of the films BEATS, RHYMES, AND RESISTANCE (Director: Lakan De Leon; 1997), LITTLE MANILA: FILIPINOS IN CALIFORNIA’S HEARTLAND (Producer/Director: Marissa Aroy; 2007), and Bohulano family home videos from CAAM’s Memories to Light program. The program will take place at 7 pm at Bindlestiff Studio. This program is co-sponsored by CAAM and Bindlestiff Studio. This program is free and open to the public. However, advanced registration via this form is encouraged due to limited space.
