Members Screening of “Don’t Lose Your Soul”

We held a screening of CAAM-produced film, "Don't Lose Your Soul," about two Asian American jazz legends - Anthony Brown and Mark Izu.

Last night, we presented our members-only APA Heritage Month reception and screening of the CAAM-produced documentary Don’t Lose Your Soul by Jim Choi and Chihiro Wimbush. Thanks to Wimbush and the film’s subjects, Anthony Brown and Mark Izu, for sharing their stories and experiences with our community. And thanks to all of our loyal members and community supporters for joining us and making our work possible!

Don’t Lose Your Soul is part of the documentary series, “Japanese American Lives,” airing on PBS stations through the end of this month. A few more broadcasts are coming up tonight and June 2nd on KQED (Bay Area). Please check your local PBS station for more information.

Not a member yet? Don’t fret! For as little as $50 a year, you too can become a CAAM member. Becoming a member is a great way to support our work.
