CAAMFest 2016 Call for Entries is open! Every year, CAAMFest brings approximately 130 works to the Bay Area, showcasing these films to over 26,000 attendees including 250 filmmakers and industry guests from around the world. Since 1982, the annual festival has been an important launching point for Asian American independent filmmakers as well as a vital source for new Asian cinema. Love Arcadia world-premiered at CAAMFest 2015 to a sold out crowd. Writer/producer Theresa Chiu reflects on her experience at the festival:
The opportunity to premiere our film at CAAMFest 2015 was an extraordinary experience for which we will be forever grateful. Theresa Chiu is a writer and producer based in Los Angeles. Love Arcadia has gone on to screen at other film festivals including LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, Asian American International Film Festival in New York, and will be playing at the Sidewalk Film Festival in Alabama at the end of this month.
