San Francisco Opening Night Screening & Gala The Festival kicks-off with red carpet excitement, and features a high profile film premiere at the opulent Castro Theatre and decadent soiree at the magnificent Asian Art Museum.
Centerpiece Pre-Reception and Presentation Centerpiece debuts cutting-edge cinema, preceded by an intimate reception with the filmmaker and special guests.
Oakland Closing Night Awards Reception & Screening The energetic culmination of the Festival’s run in San Francisco, Closing Night Awards Reception and Screening features an intimate celebration in one of the City’s premier venues and a groundbreaking new film.


We recognize and honor excellence in filmmaking through the following awards: Audience Awards, Narrative and Documentary, and Spotlight Tribute. Judged by a distinct panel of judges and the audience, sponsors can align with this high-level opportunity and create lasting legacies.


Our Festival features must-see films from around the world. Ranging from our Documentary collection of non-fiction works to the acclaimed International selection of new Asian cinema, and the Shorts Programs of wildly creative and poignant works, sponsors can select the film program that best matches their brand.
