We meet Hi’ile Kawelo who has made it her life’s work to restore an 800 year old fish pond that was once a food source for her community. Along with young adults from MA’O Organic Farm on the other side of the island, these Hawaiians are thinking about making their communities self-sustaining through farming and fishing practices that recall their ancestors.
