With Our Own Eyes

In the summer of 1994, the American Friends Service Committee assembled a delegation of 16 teenagers from the United States and Puerto Rico. Their charge: to journey to Japan and find answers to questions such as, “Why should young people in the United States today care about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945?” Highly recommended for lessons in history, politics and activism.
