And just like that, CAAMFest 2016 comes to a close after 11 days celebrating Asian and Asian American stories in film, music and food.
Awards typically range between $15,000 and $50,000. Applications open Friday, February 12, 2016 and close on Monday, March 21, 2016.
The documentary focuses on the life of artist and early Disney animation concept artist Tyrus Wong, who is 105 years-old.
Yu Gu and Scott Drucker sat down to reflect on this juncture in making their film, about the road that led them to making a documentary about Arthur Chu, and the road ahead.
CAAM is now accepting proposals for documentary projects. Submit by October 13, 2015.
