STUDENT DELEGATE PROGRAM

The 27th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival is proud to announce its 1st annual Student Delegate Program. Aimed to engage students with Asian and Asian American cinema, the program entails a rigorous program of screenings and talks, as well as access to special events and exclusive meetings with filmmakers. Last month an Asian American protest against Sacramento’s free public screening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s led to the film’s cancellation. Although the film is famous for Audrey Hepburn’s starring role, it also includes Mickey Rooney in a minor role as a buck-toothed Japanese landlord.
