3rd i Films is very pleased to present the 3rd i Seventh Annual San Francisco Int’l South Asian Film Festival (SFISAFF) , the premiere showcase for South Asian cinema in the Bay Area, scheduled for November 5 – 8, 2009.
From October 22 – 25 the San Francisco Film Society’s inaugural Cinema by the Bay festival will celebrate the passion, innovation and diversity of Bay Area filmmaking.
The 4th Annual Korean American Film Festival New York is scheduled for February 27th 2010 at TheTimesCenter. KAFFNY is now accepting short film submissions from filmmakers of Korean descent and of any nationality through November 30.

In tandem with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art visual arts exhibits The Provoke Era: Postwar Japanese Photography and Photography Now: China, Japan, Korea, Measurement in the Impermanence consists of contemporary Japanese experimental works that display an interest in the frame as a unit of time.

Asha for Education hosts the annual FILM FESTIVAL OF HOPE on August 15 from 1pm – 12am in San Francisco.
