The 28th SFIAAFF: A Look Back… Oh, What a Week It Was! The San Francisco International Asian American Film Festivall (March 11 – 21, 2010), presented by the Center for Asian American Media, wrapped with an estimated attendance of over 25,000, including over 200 filmmakers, actors and industry guests.

The 28th SFIAAFF Wraps, Award Winners Announced

The San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, presented by CAAM, wrapped with an estimated attendance of over 25,000, including over 200 filmmakers, actors and industry guests. The program featured seven world premieres, one North American premiere and two U.S. premieres of feature-length films.

Memoirs of a Superfan, Volume 5.5:  Kit Hui on Fog

Kit Hui’s FOG premiered at the Kabuki and Viz this weekend. I loved this film for its understated, subtle poignancy. Before the festival, I had an email exchange with Kit Hui, who makes her writing/directing debut with this film.

SFIAAFF 2010 is coming to San Jose, March 19-21!

So in case you missed out this past weekend with all the festivities and screenings up in San Francisco, our films still run through March 18th. Can’t make it out to SF before Thursday? Take a cinematic mulligan and head to Downtown San Jose.
