The Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) is now accepting submissions for CAAMFest38, May 14-24, 2020!
All CAAM sustaining members receive a waiver for one free admission for CAAMFest38. If you are a media or filmmaker and you have a project that you want to submit for consideration for CAAMFest38, take advantage of your opportunity to submit one entry for free. What is a CAAM Sustaining Member? Join at any of our paid levels, starting at $50 per year for an individual student or senior and $65 for an individual. All paid CAAM members are Sustaining Members!
Please note that submitting an entry does not guarantee that your project(s) will be accepted to CAAMFest38.
CAAMFEST38 SUBMISSION DEADLINES
Early Deadline: October 25, 2019: $35
Normal Deadline: November 15, 2019: $40
Late Deadline: December 6, 2019: $45
To obtain a submission fee waiver, please do the following:
1. Fill out this Google form with your contact information and the title of the project you plan to submit for consideration.
2. We will verify your membership status with the festival team and determine if you are eligible for the fee waiver.
3. Once your membership status has been verified, we will email you the submission fee waiver code.
After your submission fee waiver has been confirmed, you can then submit your entry online using FilmFreeway by one of the submission deadlines.

If your membership has recently expired, you can still receive the submission fee waiver after you renew your sustaining CAAM membership online on CAAM’s website or by using a credit card over the phone by calling Membership and Development Manager Jennifer Chu at (415) 863-0814 x 102.
