What can be learned about a city within a single day? That’s what One Day in the American City constantly pushes and continues to uncover. Through the lenses of thousands of filmmakers, the future of America is given glimpses of potential outcomes, via present issues of homelessness, climate change, gun control and more.
Having participated in the One Day project, CAAM is honored to see this ground-breaking series continue on. CAAM assembled a team of filmmakers with Hyphen in 2014 and worked with local producer Winnie Wong on the One Day in SF shoot, interviewing mostly Asian American subjects in SF Chinatown and SoMa. The CAAM/Hyphen team included Arianna Caramat, Ines Chan, Seng Chen, Jennifer Chu, Eugene Huang, Timothy Huey, Hardeep Jandu, Mariama Nance and Natalie Wong. Read more about the day here.
