Growing Up Asian in America Art, Essay and Video Contest Open

K-12 students: Enter the Growing Up Asian in America contest and tell us who in your life you would nominate for a gold medal. Submit video, art, essays or poems for a chance to win $1,000 in cash and prizes.

For the past 20 years, the Asian Pacific Fund has presented Growing Up Asian in America, a contest for K-12 students. This year’s theme is “Give Someone A Gold Medal.”

Enter the Growing Up Asian in America contest and tell us who in your life you would nominate for a gold medal. Submit video, art, essays or poems for a chance to win $1,000 in cash and prizes. Guidelines are available at your school, library and online at www.asianpacificfund.org. Entries are due Friday, March 4.

In celebration of the 2016 Olympics to be held in Rio de Janeiro this summer, we invite you to think about someone in your life you would honor with a gold medal. Who would you honor—whether in your family, school or community—and why?
