CAAMFest 2013 is officially here!  We’re kicking off the festivities tonight with our Opening Night Presentation, LINSANITY!

Linsanity, directed by Evan Jackson Leong, premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival but, did you know that two other films showing at CAAMFest premiered at Sundance too?

When I Walk, a CAAM funded documentary by filmmaker Jason DaSilva, follows DaSilva’s personal story of his battle with MS, or multiple sclerosis, through his own eyes.  An official selection of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, When I Walk premieres at CAAMFest this Friday, March 15.

Jiseul, written and directed by O Muel, is not only an official selection of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, it is also the first Korean film to win the 2013 Sundance World Cinema Dramatic Grand Jury Prize.  Shot in black-and-white, Jiseul takes place during the 1948 Jeju Massacre and tells the story of survival in fearful times. Hyphen Magazine recently wrote a review on Jiseul, which premieres at CAAMFest this Friday, March 15.
