Street artist, petty thief, porn illustrator, born-again Christian, corporate shill—these are a few of the complex sides of artist David Choe as portrayed in DIRTY HANDS. 2009 SFIAAFF alum Harry Kim met David Choe at a Korean-American summer camp and with Choe’s brother Jimmy founded the band KGB—Koreans Gone Bad. Harry, often acting as a one-man film crew, followed subject Choe around the globe for seven years for his feature documentary debut DIRTY HANDS, which is 93 minutes and is not MPAA rated.
