MUSIC VIDEO ASIA 2009 at Fest Forum!

The Festival's ever-popular MUSIC VIDEO ASIA program returns this year in a new location and setting - outdoors in the Japantown Peace Plaza, on Saturday, March 14 2009, at 7:20pm.

The Festival’s ever-popular MUSIC VIDEO ASIA program returns this year in a
new location and setting – outdoors in the Japantown Peace Plaza, on
Saturday, March 14 2009, at 7:20pm.

The program will once again showcase new sights and sounds from Asian
American filmmakers and performers, and will precede a screening of the
Japanese film BIG MAN JAPAN (8pm).

Screening this year in Music Video Asia are:
-Bambu, “Crooks and Rooks”, Dir. Patricio Ginelsa
-Big Phony, “Words That Define”, Director Chris Chan Lee
-Dengue Fever, “Seeing Hands”, Director Lance Acord
-The Dodos, “Fools”, Dir. Matt Amato
-P.I.C., “Arthur Fonzaralli”, Director Steve Mallorca
-The Vox Merger, “Reasons”, Director Todd Angkasuwan

Also screening will be two winners from the Festival¹s annual Do-It-Yourself
Music Video contest, presented by Locus at KSW. The contest is a Bay Area
focused event for Asian American filmmakers and musicians.
