I am currently in Washington DC for the National Black Programing Consortium’s New Media Institute, which has been inspiring as usual. Judith Freeman, an Obama campaign strategist, just gave a presentation on the intersection of field organizing for the campaign and new technologies. One of the successful methods she emphasized was the use of web video in the campaign, not only the video that the Obama folks produced but also the proliferation of video made outside the campaign.
Here is one of a series of video interviews I did with FFO (Filipinos for Obama) Volunteers. I interviewed a few folks when people had the time and energy. Today, I am posting my brief talk with David Mineta. He has always been an active Democrat and has some great stories about his experiences working with the Obama campaign.
