Be a part of the nation’s largest showcase for new Asian American and Asian films! We are looking for fun, exciting and reliable VOLUNTEERS for the 29th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF). This year the film festival will be held March 10-17, 2011 in San Francisco and March 18-20, 2011 in San Jose presented by the Center for Asian American Media.

SFIAAFF volunteers help make it happen, from the box office to galas and receptions, ticket taking and driving festival guests.

Volunteer benefits include:

  • Vouchers for festival screenings
  • Meeting film industry professionals and fellow film enthusiasts
  • Official Festival T-shirt
  • Volunteer Appreciation Party at Hotel Tomo

We need volunteers who:

  • Can commit to a minimum of three shifts over the course of the festival (approximately 12 hours)
  • Can attend Volunteer Orientations (snacks, short film sneak peek, surprising games, and your 2011 SFIAAFF Volunteer How-To’s)
  • If you’re interested in driving, please email Pahole directly as there is a different application process.
