Join CAAM for a Chinatown screening of “Breathin’: The Eddy Zheng Story” on May 28

Join CAAM on Saturday, May 28th for a San Francisco Chinatown screening of Ben Wang’s documentary BREATHIN’: THE EDDY ZHENG STORY (CAAMFest 2016 Audience Award winner) and Q&A with Wang and the subject, Eddy Zheng. The film paints an intimate portrait of Eddy Zheng— the prisoner, the immigrant, the son, the activist — on his journey to freedom, rehabilitation and redemption.

BREATHIN’ was supported by CAAM in 2011 with funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. This screening is presented in partnership with the Community Youth Center of San Francisco, the Chinatown Community Development Center and OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates San Francisco Chapter,San Francisco Supervisor Jane Kim (District 6) and San Francisco Supervisor Aaron Peskin (District 3) in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. There is a suggested donation of $5 for the screening, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
