ITVS Diversity Development Fund Now Open

Receive up to $15,000 in funding for a single documentary made by a producer of color. Submit your application by November 13, 2015.

The Independent Television Service (ITVS) is seeking applications for its Diversity Development Fund. ITVS has funded projects such as The Waiting Room, The New Black, Reportero and Tough Love. Awardees can receive up to $15,000 in research and development funding, for independent producers of color, to development a documentary film for public television. The fund seeks producers from cultural and ethnic communities historically underrepresented on public television.

Funding activities may include travel, research, script development, preliminary production for fundraising/work-in-progress reels, or other early phase activities.

The deadline is Friday, November 13, 2015 at 4pm PST.
