American TV’s longest-running children’s show, Sesame Street, is 45 years old this year. There’s a fabulous lineup of special guests on this season’s educational show, which premieres September 15 (check local listings). This includes First Lady Michelle Obama.
We spot some Asian Americans too. Mindy Kaling? Check. Aziz Ansari? You betcha. The show also features regular cast members Alan Muraoka (“Alan”), owner of Hooper’s Store, and the newest addition, Nitya Vidyasagar, as “Leela.”
