Is San Francisco haunted?

Looking to get scared at SFIAAFF 30? Watch I AM A GHOST, an experiment on memory written and directed by H.P. Mendoza!

San Francisco has long been associated with ghosts. The City by the Bay’s most famous attractions: Alcatraz, Fairmont Hotel, and even City Hall have all been known to have a supernatural presence. H.P Mendoza, director of “I AM A GHOST” (premiering at SFIAAFF 30) gives us a tour of haunted places in San Francisco, from the Golden Gate Bridge to Stow Lake. WATCH:

H.P.’s contribution to the festival this year is quite different from the previous years of comedies and musicals. We are featuring his fresh take on a haunting with I AM A GHOST. Emily (Anna Ishida) is a ghost with a mysterious past and Sylvia (Jeannie Barroga) is the medium hired to help her cross over to the other side. Written and directed by H.P. Mendoza, he focuses on the projection of powerful, past memories rather than your standard popcorn fare. Of course, no thriller is complete with a frightening conclusion, so beware!
