Hark! CAAM is truly blessed to have many wonderful supporters and we’d love to show the world how awesome they really are. This is a shout out to you, CAAM members! Thank you for being your amazing self! Dear world, please meet…..

EVELYN GEE

Who are you?
My name is Evelyn Gee and I’m a former CAAM junkie. I’ve worked in the internet industry for years and recently took a break from it to try my hand in post-production at Pixar. After a little over a year there, I’m back in high tech working for Twitter in San Francisco. I’m a long-time CAAM fan, current member, former SF Asian American Film Festival screening committee member, toast and jam eater, and puggle owner..

Where’s home?
San Francisco, but my friends and family make home for me. I think I can live almost anywhere as long as I have my loved ones close by.

What’re you up to in the world and in the community?
Not enough! In the past I’ve worked closely with CAAM on setting up their YouTube non-profit channel, as a feature length screening committee member, and most recently as a CAAMbassador, getting the word out about CAAM’s mission and work. It’s been amazing working with and getting to know various CAAM staff members through different projects. Their passion for our community and film is contagious (note junkie reference above)! Right now, I’m focusing on work, encouraging my filmmaker friends with their projects, and acting as a resource for them.
