Locus@KSW and the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival Present….4th annual Do-It-Yourself Music Video Contest.

Hey, Asian American musicians and filmmakers!

Here’s your opportunity to make an original music video that will premiere at the SFIAAFF Launch Party at 111 Minna on February 10, 2011. All entries will battle for Most Popular (through online voting) and Jury’s Choice. The two winning music videos will go on to screen at the 29th SFIAAFF.

How to Submit! Send an email to brandon[at]kearnystreet[dot]org with the following:

  • Short bios about the director and the musician or band
  • Musicians must have a CD quality recording of the song you would like to use in a music video. Please email us a link to your songs or videos online
  • Filmmakers must have their own video camera and editing software. If you have a sample of your work posted online, please email us a link even if it is not of a music video, but it must be of your own work.
  • The deadline to let us know that you are interested in participating is December 15, 2010 extended to Dec 22, 2010. If you know any budding directors, producers, storytellers, bands, singers, songwriters, or MC’s looking to get involved in this great event, network, and make music videos, please forward this call to them.
