On a damp Wednesday night, filmmakers, media professionals and lovers of Asian American cinema braved the wind and the rain, to celebrate the launch of Cinema Asian America.

On a damp Wednesday night, filmmakers, media professionals and lovers of Asian American cinema braved the wind and the rain, to attend the launch party of Cinema Asian America at the Sundance Kabuki in San Francisco. The Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) is partnering with Comcast to launch the Asia-centric On Demand destination CINEMA ASIAN AMERICA, which offers a wide range of films created by and/or about Asian Americans and is available NOW to all Comcast customers nationwide. At the launch party, Stephen Gong (Executive Director, Center for Asian American Media) delivered an inspirational welcoming address followed with opening remarks by Johnnie Giles (VP Government Relations, Comcast and CAAM Board Member) and Chi-hui Yang (Programmer, Cinema Asian America .)
