From H.P. Mendoza, writer, composer and star of COLMA: THE MUSICAL comes FRUIT FLY, an infectious and charming San Francisco songfest. L.A. Renigen plays a Filipina performance artist who arrives in the city and moves into a Mission District artists’ commune. There, she is welcomed into a world of colorful characters, rent control, public transit, one-night stands and other heartbreakingly familiar San Francisco mainstays, all celebrated in a lyrical chorus of clever wit, whimsical choreography and catchy hooks.
