Actor and writer Aasif Mandvi, best known to many as the “Senior
Foreign-Looking Correspondent” on the Daily Show with John Stewart
will be making a special appearance at this year’s Festival!
Mandvi will be on hand to attend the red carpet premiere of Opening
Night film TODAY’S SPECIAL, which he wrote and stars in, on Thursday,
March 11, at the Castro Theatre. Two days later, on Saturday, March 13
at the Landmark Clay Theatre, he will sit down for a special, intimate
on-stage conversation to talk about producing romantic foodie comedy,
working with John Stewart, his role in the upcoming THE LAST
AIRBENDER, and much more
