ELECTION is one of the most acclaimed films to be made in Hong Kong in recent years. A tense crime thriller, it stars Simon Yam and Tony Leung Ka-Fai, as two gang leaders engaged in a power struggle to become the new leader of the Hong Kong Triad society. ELECTION premiered at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival.

ELECTION will be presented as part of ASIA EXTREME, a collection of cutting-edge, super natural tales from innovative filmmakers from the Far East. ASIA EXTREME will premiere exclusively Free On Demand from Comcast on August 1, 2009.
