The 27th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival opens with Lee Yoon-ki’s MY DEAR ENEMY, a breezy, pitch-perfect ride through the streets of Seoul and into the unsuspecting world of two ex-lovers, ENEMY brims with warmth and possibility while mining the magic, mystery and foibles of human relations. Winding its way through back alleys just as it twists through the intricacies of the heart, Lee’s fourth feature is a jazzy, city-symphony road trip that sparkles with remarkable performances and subtle gestures. Screening will be held at the Castro Theatre, followed by a stylish Gala reception at the Asian Art Museum. Be sure to get your tickets to both the North American premiere of MY DEAR ENEMY and the fabulous gala party following. Take advantage of the special combo price for both!
